I need cetrizine

I had Mee Jawa with a frap for dinner just now... I think it was not too long before I felt an itch on my left thigh. Eczema.

I am still rather clueless what causes it... or rather what causes mine. I have eaten those before at the same place and had not encounter any problems. Although, it must be said that the Mee Jawa is a bit different than how I remember it last tasted.

It has been years since I last experience this itching itchies and scratchies. I had thought that I somehow had outgrown it, or my memory cells are brilliant enough already from past battles, if that is even possible. At the beginning, I thought it was just a dirt rash as I was out for the whole day, approximately more than 15 hours. So, it did not cross my mind that there was anything I should be concern about it.

Prawns, my allergen, my kryptonite. Too much of it and my immune system will go crazy. Firstly my bone marrow will form B cells which is activated in the presence of prawns. More and more antibodies type lgE will be secreted, which will trigger histamine (heparin etc) release from mast cells.

And so, to make it short, I now have bumpy, red, itchy spots over my body. I only hope my macrophages @ phagocytes @ pacman v2.0 are doing a good job.

Perhaps this video, besides being entertaining can share how our immune system works.

on abeyance... but this has to be here

Normally,
I wouldn't feel bad doing anything.
I live by THE motto;
No regrets,
No perhaps,
Just Do It.

But,
Having a good reputation doesn't mean anything;
if you can't feel good about yourself...
if you know what you did was absolutely wrong...

You just have to accept that you are the catalyst;
one which we can hope never to be available for use again;
or one which has a low turnover rate;
Perhaps sodium channel blockers may help against the pain.
You are strong.

Don't do today what you can never undo tomorrow.

i need football therapy

If only life is like a football finals...

Supposed we can't finish our assignment or a 90 minutes exam on time. Firstly, we will be given a few minutes of injury time to finish our work. Injuries from what?? Well... finger cramps; hunger pangs; tired, droopy eyes (ptosis); severe-(too straight or hunched) back syndrome; restless legs, overstretched rubber neck; overworked brain and head trauma, etc. But the accumulation of each injury time is usually around 3 minutes only.

BUT be patient, if we still can't finish, we will be given 30 minutes of extra time! If that isn't enough, we will get free massages! I mean whose body isn't strained after 90 minutes of work. Also, if we can finish during this period, we will still get our deserved marks. We won't be penalised at all.

BUT if we still can't finish by then (how I wonder), it will be the lottery session. Either we pass with flying colours, or fail miserably. It depends on luck. Best of fives!

So, what you think of an exam system like this one?? Nothing to lose, only thing is that we will feel tired. And the lottery is quite an emotional, adrenaline-pumping thing which can go either way. BUT... if only...

Lots of assignments to do... sorry folks!

Apollo!

Dear Mighty Helios,

Firstly, let me say that your solar steeds - Pyrios, Aeos, Aethon, and Phlegon - look as healthy... I mean as fiery as ever! And, your chariot; perfect! I know it's probably hard work keeping its shine and glitter when you have to reel the sun in everyday. How do you do it?

I wonder how you do this everyday since t=0, I mean for billions of years? What motivates you to do the same thing everyday?? Is it the cheese fondue? The pay is good? To answer our prayers? Is your son, Phaƫton, taking over the business??

Actually I was wondering if you could tone down on the shine? Many of the folks down here appreciate the warmth and all, but I think we could do with a little less of the brightness.

It's not cheap to afford a good pair of shades... sunglasses anymore these days - you know the global credit crunch and all. Which brand do you use anyway? So for the rest of us who unwittedly stare continuously at you and your work, from dawn to dusk, yeah.. we are at risk of cataracts.

It's a horrible disease. Our eye lens will be clouded and we will experience tunnel vision. Soon, it won't be as easy to appreciate your good hard work anymore. So, help us a little ok? I know it's technically our fault for destroying the ozone layer to begin with. But I know, you won' let the UV rays debilitate and compromise our sight for the other finer things in life.

Thank you, Helios!

Citizen of the Earth.

Thanks for the shades, Helios! A little big but I love it! I will wear it as often as I should ;)
